Job Responsibilities

Selective Pruning of trees for best health

Improve building and service line clearances
-
Deadwood / hazard removal

Lateral shaping as needed
-
Structural supporting / cable and bracing

Crews use advanced climbing techniques and moderate equipment to move around in trees safely

Rope rigging using friction device to help lower branches and wood safely to the ground

Crane rigging used when practical
-
Utilize chain saws, hand saws, and mechanical pruning tools

Communication with ground crews to work in unison

Clean up and removal of tree debris

Perform duties as assigned

Maintain regular attendance

CDL preferred but not required
Desired Job Qualifications
- 18 years old minimum
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Driven individuals with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and grow within an expanding company
- Experience or knowledge in a tree care industry or similar field / education
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to Stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds
- Preferred strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance
